In Pattaya!!!

Wheeeeeeeeeee!

Arrived in Pattaya today and I am soooooooo loving it!!

We, my parents, bf and I, touched down in Bangkok and then a van took us to Pattaya, a 1,5 hr ride, to the Sheraton and it is super amazinggggg!!! I never ever want to go back to budget hotels anymore! LOL

Just the lobby alone is so so beautiful, don't even get me started about the rest of the hotel. My cousin's hubby is the general manager and so he managed to upgrade our rooms, my mom got a deluxe which I haven't seen yet and I share a room with ocean view + king size bed with baby! It's THE BOMB!

Our room overlooks the swimming pool as well and there's a private beach for Sheraton guests! It all feels so exclusive, lolol!

After the tour around the hotel we sat down to trench our thirst and had a small bite. I had my pineapple fried rice and coconut, yummmyy! We also have a card that entitles us to 50% off on food & beverages as well as the spa, how cool is that?? After that we took a short rest and at around 6 we took a walk to town to check it out. I gotta say I am pretty impressed with Pattaya! They have a few big malls with beautiful christmas deco and plenty of places that offer full body massages and it's all soooo cheap! Just imagine RM 15 or EUR 3 for 1 hr!

So, it's around 10 PM now, we took the last shuttle bus back to the hotel. My parents and cousin went to their rooms and baby & I are in the computer room. I'm looking at this HUGE monitor and just found out it's frigging touch screen! The monitor itself is the desktop with usb ports and memory card reader at the sides, it's mad cool!

I'm on holiday!

Last Friday was my last day in office and after yesterday's event I'm officially FREE!

Of course I'm happy about this because it's BYE BYE to waking up early morning 5 days a week and HELLO to long afternoon naps! Now I have more time to be lazy and chill, shop, hit the gym and also..PACK :(!

Today I finally had the time and the energy to clean up the huge mess I made in the room, I'm still not done after so many hours but I'm so exhaustedddd, omg!

I also packed for my trip tomorrow to Thailand! I AM SOOOOO EXCITED! I can't wait to work on my tan, to swim in the ocean, to spend time with my family and bf, to see the beautiful resort we're staying at, to eat like mad, to DIVE! and not to forget.....to go absolutely insane shopping in Bangkok! :D I'm spending 4 nights in Pattaya and only 2 nights in Bangkok so I don't have so much time there but I'll do my best! I MUST go back to Platinum Mall because 2 years ago I had an incident in Bangkok (ATM card spoilt!) and I was totally BROKE ASS when I went there! :( I also want to visit the tiger temple and maybe go for a ride on an elephant! If I can accomplish those 3 things, I'll be more than happy =) *fingers crossed*!!!!

I want to blog more, post some pics and everything but it's 1:24 AM and I need to wake up at 8! Sleepy timeeee.

I'm bringing my laptop on this trip so if I have time and wi-fi I'll definitely do an update from the land of smiles ;)!

Life as an intern; week 20

My final week interning!!!

I am so grateful how life has been for me, how I landed this internship instead of the other publishing company in Sri Kembangan (like half the world away from where I stay).

This company is so flexible and I'm really glad to have worked with such nice people, my colleagues are really sweet and they've always helped me with whatever. Never a problem if I wanted to take off for a few days, or when I'm not feeling well (like today) or when I'm late (like EVERYDAY! hehe) and the amount of questions they entertained is wicked, LOL!

I'm currently working on another small project for this coming Saturday, we're organizing a girly day for our readers in The Library, a new place in The Curve. I totally dig that place, love the concept! It was a last minute thing so it's been quite stressful getting sponsorships, but I guess it's another lesson for us to NOT be last minute with events, haha.

Anyway, the most valuable thing I've learnt during these 20 weeks is that I actually enjoy working in the media! It was a first time for me and it's actually pretty cool. I get to attend awesome events (with lotsa goodies and nice food!) and I love organizing events myself as well given there's enough time to plan one! I really do not like last minute events, especially at the end of the year when most companies have used up all their budgets for the year :(

It got me thinking about the future though. I am graduating next year and I really have NO CLUE what I'm gonna do after college. There are countless of options but I really don't know which one to choose. Should I start a fulltime job immediately? At a publishing company since I love it that much? Or a fashion related job that I've always dreamt of? Get a part time job and save up for traveling? Continue studying? I've always thought I'd do my Masters next but now it seems out of the question because there's nothing that interests me enough to study another 2 years, hmmmm!! I guess I'm gonna have to take it one step at a time for now and do some really hard thinking when I'm back.

Family weekend

Just a quick post before I go off for a weekend trip to my dad's hometown.. Yes, the awful rubber smelling little village filled with huge rats and whatnot. You all know how much I love that place *ahem.

Looking forward to spending some time with my family AND the shopping spree in the cute lil boutiques in Ipoh though! =)

Not to mention the amount of the best DURIAN ever that I will be eating, yum yummmmm!! I guess trips back to Enggor aren't so bad when I'm accompanied by my parents cus they'll do the talking for me haha!

On a sidenote, I have finally watched Twilight cus I was curious why everyone is so in love with the show.. but seriously? I have NO CLUE what the hype is all about?! It was UBER disappointing to me although I didn't find it as bad as New Moon, which I watched a day after watching Twilight. I expected so much more from it, MORE fighting, MORE action, MORE drama! Another thing I wanna say is.. EDWARD CULLEN is not a hot vampire!
